We had another wonderful event where we shared our bread and our friendship by opening the doors of our hearts to each other.
How grateful we are to you God that You made us get together again after those difficult days of the pandemic and uncertainty.

People from different faith communities gathered on May 2nd, 2022 which was the 1st day of Eid of Ramadan, a day of joy that is celebrated by all Muslims throughout the world. Eid Mubarak...

We thank all of our guests who joined us in our celebration including the ones that even couldn't make it as well.
We specially and explicitly thank Mr. Mayor Donnie R.Tuck for his warmness and embracing kindness as always. His closeness to his citizens makes us love him more and more.
And we explicitly would like to extend our thanks to the department of Citizens' Unity Commission and its wonderful staff who have been organizing the iftar dinners with RumiFA since 2014, their inclusiveness gives the city of Hampton a unique role and value indeed.
We thank Rabbi Severine Sokol of Temple Sinai, she shared a lot of memories of hers and her family from real life which warmed up our hearts and her emphasis on the solution of the conflicts around the world increased our hopes for peace.
We thank Rev. Natalie Chamberlain for her loveful speech and for taking her shoes off prior to it impressed us. We can't thank her enough for she is always open to our invitations whenever she is available.
We thank Dr. Bedir for his wonderful speech about Ramadan, especially the power of fasting and the verse he quoted from the Qur'an which addresses the whole of humankind.
We thank Hampton Sheriff's office and staff who could make it to our event despite their busy schedules.
We thank the staff of Northampton Community Center for their preparation of this special facility for us.
We thank RumiFA, which is always seeking peace by every means possible, encouraging love and dialogue both among its members and in the community.

Last but not least, Mr. Gabe Diaz, the Executive Director of Citizen's Unity Commission, who organized this event for RumiFA, his warm and welcoming messages. We feel fortunate to get to know him. He was wonderful while presenting the program and transitioning between the speeches and his smile on his face. Thank you, Mr. Diaz, again.

We are looking forward to continuing this lovely work of peace and love with you all in the future.

Love will prevail, inshaAllah (God willing)

Thank you all, indeed
